NOTE: You must have access to the Leadership Genius license to utilize the Phases of Performance feature.
If you have access to the Leadership Genius license, you can use the Phase Assessment tool to identify the Phase of Performance you are currently in. For information on the different Phases of Performance, see Understanding the Phases of Performance.
If you already know the Phase of Performance, you can click the Phase of Performance Not Set 
 drop-down on the bottom of the Objective page, then select a Phase of Performance. 

If you don't see these exact terms, it's likely your Administrator has made an Alias.
NOTE: If you do not see the No Phase 
 drop-down, click the Options 
 drop-down and select the Tools 
 link. In the Tools window, turn the Phase Assessment switch to 
 On.
How to use the Phase of Performance Assessment:
1. On the top toolbar, click the Module 
 button and select Objectives.
2. Create a new objective or select an existing objective to edit. See Creating an Individual Objective or Creating a Team Objective.
3. If you are editing an existing objective, click the Edit 
 icon.
4. On the bottom of the Objective page, click the Phase of Performance Not Set 
 drop-down and select the Launch Assessment 
 link.

5. You can also access the Phase Assessment screen by clicking the Options 
 drop-down and selecting Tools 
. In the Tools window, click the Launch 
 link next to the Phase Assessment switch.

NOTE: If you do not see the No Phase 
 drop-down, click the Options 
 drop-down and select the Tools 
 link. In the Tools window, turn the Phase Assessment switch to 
 On.

5. Answer four simple questions to quickly identify the Phase or the click the Show Advanced Builder 
 switch for a more in-depth analysis.

- In the standard Phase Assessment screen, answer either Low/Some or High for the available questions.
 - In the Advanced Builder screen, select the word that best describes your feelings toward the goal. You can change the word after you select it.

6. Click the Apply 
 to apply your changes.  
The Phase of Performance will be reflected throughout Inspire including your 1-1 which will help your manager identify your phase and provide the appropriate style of leadership and coaching. You can update the Phase at any time within Edit Objective or within the Check In feature.
