Talent Cycle Assessments

The Talent cycle assessments interface provides a systematic way to assess employees quickly based on the grading perspectives in a specific cycle.

Important: The Talent module is only available to users that have been assigned assessment responsibilities within a Talent cycle and HR Admins.

Accessing

  1. Navigate to Talent > Assess.
  2. Select from the list of available Talent cycles to begin assessing or review.

Making Assessments

  1. Select Employee: To begin making assessments select an employee from the list of employees located on the left side of the Talent assess interface.
  2. View Employee Assessment Details: The employee will display as selected within the employee list and their assessment options will load on the right side of the interface.
  3. Add Assessment and Comments: Select a grade for one or more grading perspectives associated with the employee and enter a comment to provide clarifying information.
  4. Complete Assessment: Select "Save Assessment" to complete an individual assessment - or - select "Save & Next" to save your current assessment and progress forward to the next employee.

Note: You may make multiple assessments for the same employee. Each assessment is treated a s separate submission and is captured in the list of historical grades and comments for each grading perspective.

Filtering Employees to Assess

There are two methods for filtering employees within Talent assessment.

  1. Module Filter: To set a filter on the Talent Module select the "Filter Icon" from the top right corner of the main display next to the Talent cycle selector. Set filters within the panel provided to focus your Talent assessments on specific groups of employees.
  2. Employee List Filter: The employee list can be filtered based on status. By default this filter is set to "All" but can be adjust to filter the employee list to:
    1. Graded: Only display employees who have been assessed in all grading perspectives.
    2. Partially Graded: Only display employees who have been assessed in at least one grading perspective but not all.
    3. Not Graded: Only display the employees who have not yet been assessed in an of the grading perspectives.

Other Assessment features

  1. View Performance Appraisals: If your organization is leveraging the Inspire performance module a link will display within the assessment display to view recent performance appraisals and inform assessments.
  2. View Grading Perspective Grading Descriptions: Access the grading descriptions for any grading perspective by selecting the "eye" icon next to the grade selector.
