# Using the Recognition Payroll Report

## The Recognition Payroll Report allows the Recognition Administrator to easily view how employees give and redeem points from your company's recognition budget.

As points have monetary value, this report is an excellent tool for tracking how your company is utilizing points as well as providing insight for structuring future budgets.

Follow the instructions below to view and use the Recognition Payroll Report.

**Note:** In order to view the Recognition Payroll Report, you must be a Recognition Administrator.

### Viewing the Recognition Payroll Report

1\. Click the **Modules** ![moduleButton](https://help.inspiresoftware.com/hs-fs/hubfs/moduleButton.png?width=36&name=moduleButton.png) menu and select **Reports**.

2\. Expand the **Recognition** menu on the left side of the *Reports* page, and select **Recognition Payroll Report**.

3\. The Recognition Payroll Report populates with all awards given with points, as well as each award's monetary value.

4\. The Recognition Payroll Report can be used in the following ways:

- [Downloading or Printing](https://help.inspiresoftware.com/en/viewing-the-recognition-payroll-report#download)

#### Filtering the Recognition Payroll Report

Apply a date range filter to view a more specific set of awards or a broad set of awards over an extended period of time.

1\. Click the **Filter** ![filterRedemptionSummary](https://help.inspiresoftware.com/hs-fs/hubfs/filterRedemptionSummary.png?width=32&name=filterRedemptionSummary.png) button towards the top right-hand side of the page.

2\. Select a **Start Date** and an **End Date** using the calendar selector.

3\. Click **Apply** to populate results.

#### Searching the Recognition Payroll Report

When searching the Recognition Payroll Report, the search results are highlighted on the report. 

1\. Click the **Search** button at the top of the page.

2\. Type what you are searching for in the **Find** field and the results will populate below as well as highlighted in the report.

#### Download or Print the Recognition Payroll Report

1\. To print the Recognition Payroll Report, click the **Print** ![printRedemptionSummary](https://help.inspiresoftware.com/hs-fs/hubfs/printRedemptionSummary.png?width=37&name=printRedemptionSummary.png) button towards the top of the report.

2\. To download the Recognition Payroll Report, hover over the **Download ![downloadRedemptionSummary](https://help.inspiresoftware.com/hs-fs/hubfs/downloadRedemptionSummary.png?width=54&name=downloadRedemptionSummary.png)**

drop-down menu towards the top of the report then select the format you would like to download.
