Sorting Logic in the Corporate Strategy View
This article outlines the sorting rules applied to the Corporate Strategy View to ensure a consistent and logical display of your strategic objectives and key results.
The system applies a three-level sort order to organize the data.
Primary Sort: Category
The main sort is by Category.
-
Order: The strategies are grouped and sorted based on the order defined in the main Strategy View settings. This ensures the foundational structure of your strategy category is always reflected first.
Secondary Sort: Priority
Within each category, the strategies are then sorted by Objective Priority followed by Key Results Priority.
-
Purpose: This sort rule specifically applies to the direct children under a parent strategy. Corporate Objectives marked with a higher priority will appear before those with a lower priority within the same category group and under the same parent.
Tertiary Sort: Date
The final level of sorting is by Date.
-
Consistency: This sort is applied to Start Date and End Date. This provides a consistent chronological order for any remaining objectives and Key results that share the same Category and Priority.
