Viewing OKRs by Date Range in the Objective Explorer
This article explains how to use the new Start/End Date Filter in the Objective Explorer to view OKRs within a specific timeframe.
How to Apply the Date Filter
-
Navigate to the Objective Explorer.
- Click on the Filter icon on the top right corner.
-
Locate and expand the Start/End Date Filter section.
-
Set your desired Start Date and End Date.
-
Default View: If no dates are set, the filter defaults to the last 90 days.
-
-
Click the Apply button.
Understanding the Results
When you set and apply a Start/End Date filter, the explorer will return all OKRs that:
-
Fall entirely within the set date range.
-
Overlap with the set date range (i.e., their start or end date is within your filter range).
Filter Priority Note
It is important to understand how the Date Filter interacts with the Strategy Period Filter:
- Strategy Period Filter -->> Start/End Date Filter
The Strategy Period filter always takes precedence.
-
If you set the Strategy Period filter (e.g., to "Q3 2024"), it will override and ignore any dates you have set in the Start/End Date filter.
-
If the Strategy Period filter is empty, the explorer will use your Start/End Date filter to determine the displayed OKRs.
