# Shared Key Results

## Objective Owners have the ability to set a Key Result to be shared progress so that the key result has one start and target and all contributors can update the key result completion.

- When editing a key result, after adding contributor(s), you will be given the option to select Shared Progress (one contributor can update progress for everyone) vs Individual Progress (each individual contributor updates their own progress).

**Note:** The default progress for team objectives is Shared progress.

- Upon selecting Shared Progress: (If you already had a Start and Target Value) a message will Pop up to alert you that Key Result Progress will be reset.

- You will have the option to enter in any Completion Data if known. If not – leave this at 0.

- Next step is to **Save** and **Publish**

**Note:** Each Contributor will have the option to update the progress.
