Adding the Newsfeed Widget to your Home Page
If you do not see the Newsfeed Widget on your Home Page:
- Click the Pencil icon in the upper-right corner of Inspire.
- Select the green + button and choose the column (1, 2, or 3) where you would like to place the widget.
Using the Newsfeed
The Newsfeed provides a chronological feed of your coworkers’ check-ins. You can easily Reply or Comment on any check-in, or Recognize or Nudge an individual for the progress they’re making on their OKRs. Click any profile icon to open that user’s pop-up profile card.
Filtering the Newsfeed
Open the filter side panel using the filter button to customize which check-ins appear in the feed. The filter button is available from both the top right corner of the Newsfeed Widget and the top right corner of the full Newsfeed page.
From the filter panel you can select multiple filters before confirming your selections.
After your filters are chosen, click Apply to update the Newsfeed view and close the panel. Click Cancel to close the panel without applying any changes. To reset your view, return to the filter drop-downs and deselect the chosen items.

Tip: Using a combination of these filters will allow you to quickly focus on the progress of specific teams on objectives tied to particular corporate initiatives.
Privacy Note: All Public Objective check-ins post to the Newsfeed. Updates from Private Objectives will not appear in the feed.
