Objective Visibility and Image
Users can change the image for Objectives and Visibility of Objectives so they are only visible to you, your supervisor, or to everyone. (Private vs Public).
Your Objective image and objective visibility can be edited by Navigating to
Edit- Options - Attributes
Note: The labeling and images depicted in this article may differ from your version of Inspire.
These settings dictate who can view your objective and where your objective can be viewed.
- Professional and Public: The objective is visible to all users and status updates are posted to the newsfeed. This is the default for most companies unless your admin has changed this in the administrator module.
- Professional and Private: The objective is only visible to your supervisor in your 1-1 and status updates are not posted to the newsfeed.
- Personal and Public: The objective is visible in your public profile but does not display in your 1-1. Status updates post to the newsfeed. An example objective for this type could be to accomplish an event such as a 5k fun run that you are participating with other employees and want your progress to be visible to each other. The administrator at your organization has the ability to disable personal objectives so contact them if this setting is not available.
- Personal and Private: The objective is only visible to you and do not post to the newsfeed. The administrator at your organization has the ability to disable personal objectives so contact them if this setting is not available.
Optional: Enter a Priority for your Objective (Example: 1, 2, 3 or A, B, C)
Note: Depending on your Company Settings, you may only be able to set the Perspective to Professional.
Note: If you use Microsoft Outlook, you can mark tasks as private in Microsoft Outlook from Inspire.
