# Participants

## In this section, the Performance Administrator selects which Inspire users will be included in the Performance Cycle. These users will receive enabled Performance Cycle notifications and be required to complete all relevant sections.

### Participants

To add participants to the Performance Cycle, use the tools listed below:

**Note: **If weighting is enabled in the cycle and weighting group(s) have been created, quickly add all users in the weighting group(s) by clicking the **Assign Participants in Cycle Weighted Groups** button.

- To add participants one at a time, enter a participant name in the **Search **field and then press enter, and select the user. Or, scroll through the **Available Participants **list and select the desired user(s). 
- Once selected, use the **Add **button to add the selected participant to the **Assigned Participant** window. 
- By clicking the carrot icon on the Green Add Button- this will allow you to either                    **Add selected** users to the cycle or **Add All**.

- To remove a user from participation in the performance cycle, select their name from the **Assigned Participants **window and click **Remove. **

- Click the **Finish **button at the top of the page to Save.

**Note**: If the feature of **Next Level Supervisor Approval** is enabled, there will be a warning label that explains if a Cycle Participant doesn't have a Next Level Manager- they will not have their appraisals reviewed or approved.
