Step 3 - Allocate Points from a Budget

Once the Recognition Budget has been created, the Recognition Administrator is able to set up point allocation groups. The Recognition Administrator must allocate points so users can give awards with points, and boost awards if boosting is enabled.

Peer to peer recognition is a great way for all employees to recognize their peers hard work and accomplishments. By creating a peer to peer budget, a recognition administrator can allocate points to employees so they can give peer to peer awards with points.

The manager point category allows all supervisors in the company to receive extra points to award to direct reports. Managers are able to be added to both types of budgets, manager and peer-to-peer.

To create point allocation groups, follow the steps below.

Note: To complete the instructions in this article, you must be a Recognition Administrator. Before you can allocate points, you must create a budget. After you have finished allocating points to users, you publish the budget
